Should you be unable to attend your appointment time we request that at least 48 hours’ notice be given to avoid a $50 cancellation fee.
This will allow us to reschedule your appointment and accommodate other waiting patients.
Sunshine Dental Group is a private dental practice. We aim to provide the very best dental care and service possible. Our fees are structured to reflect the time you spend with your dentist, the complexity of your issues, as well as any procedures performed during your appointment.
Sunshine Dental Group requires payment on the day of your dental treatment.
We accept cash, bank cheque, EFTPOS, Visa , Mastercard and Amex credit cards.
However for some ongoing treatments we can arrange a regular payment plan *** Conditions applies ***. Speak to our staff, they will be happy to assist you.
For those with private health insurance we offer a Hicaps facility. This will allow you to claim your rebate from your health fund instantly leaving only the difference between the rebate and our fee to pay.
Infection Control Policy
Our infection control policy and procedures follow the current guidelines. All dental instruments are either single use or sterilised before use.
You can be confident that:
- We pride ourselves in executing the highest standards of sterilisation
- You are being treated in a safe dental environment
- Our staff has been trained in infection control practices and are engaged in ongoing infection control education.

Your dental record and any other information that we collect is kept strictly confidential and used only for your care. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal information at all times, and to ensure that the information is only available to authorised members of staff.
Your dental file is handled with the utmost respect for your privacy. The file will be accessed by your dentist, and when necessary, by the other staff in the practice for communicating relevant information to specialists or allied health professionals.
It may also be necessary for our staff to access your file to address the administrative requirements of running a dental practice. As a condition of their employment, all our staff are bound by strict confidentiality requirements.
Ordinarily we will not release the contents of your dental file without your consent, but there may be occasions where we will be required to release the details of your file, such as for legal disclosure as required by a court of law.
